Introducing Welcome to Nowhere: A Postcard Story Co. Original
At Postcard Story Co., we believe stories are best experienced slowly. Not in a binge, not all at once, but in the quiet moments between things — the way a postcard arrives between the bills, carrying more than just a picture and a stamp.
That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our newest serialized journey: Welcome to Nowhere.
It’s 25 visually intriguing postcards, each mailed directly to you every two weeks, so the story unfolds like a road trip — one mile, one town, one turn of phrase at a time.
You’ll meet Calder. He’s a traveler, a writer, and maybe a little bit of a mystery. He sends postcards from places most people don’t notice — towns with names that make you stop, laugh, or wonder if they’re even real. He has a knack for seeing the humor in the mundane and the poetry in the overlooked.
When we asked Calder why he does it, he shrugged and said, “Keeps the pen from getting lonely.”
When we asked if he ever travels to big cities, he said, “Sure. Sometimes by accident.”
And when we asked how long this journey might go on, he said, “Until I run out of towns. Or stamps.”
In Welcome to Nowhere, you’re not just reading a story — you’re collecting an experience. Each card pairs a striking, conversation-starting image with Calder’s voice, dry and observant, sometimes funny, sometimes sharp enough to leave a mark.
It’s perfect for your fridge, your desk, your favorite notebook — or for sending along to a friend who might need a small, beautiful interruption in their day.
The Value of Slowing Down
We live in a world of instant everything. Our stories are built to resist that pace. One postcard every two weeks gives you something to anticipate, something you can hold, turn over, and keep. And when the final card arrives, you’ll have a complete journey — one that only exists in your hands, at your pace.
Welcome to Nowhere launches this month. First card goes out soon. The only question is — are you coming along?
Reserve your spot at [Postcard Story Co.] and let Calder take you places you didn’t know you wanted to go.
