Hi, I’m Craig — a traveler, wanderer, and explorer at heart.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved travel; not just the sights and adventures, but

the little treasures I’d bring home: postcards, refrigerator magnets, small mementos that held the feeling of a place long after I’d left.

As my mother grew older, I noticed how much joy (and sometimes disappointment) came from her simple routine

 of checking the mailbox. When it was empty, it showed. So I made it my mission to send her notes and postcards as often as I could,  little surprises tucked among the bills and ads, reminders that someone was thinking of her.

One day, while visiting the Pony Express Museum in Missouri, I included a playful offer on my travel blog: I’d send a free postcard to anyone who requested one. I expected a few takers. What I didn’t expect was how many people, young and old, from all over, craved that little spark of wonder and nostalgia.

That’s when I realized postcards aren’t just for aging parents or collectors. They’re for anyone who believes in the magic of surprise, the charm of real mail, and the unfolding of a story over time.

And so, Postcard Story Co. was born — delivering postcards with a story that unfolds over the course of a year, one chapter at a time, to your mailbox.
